This is a Eales 1779 Glass Salt and Pepper Shaker Set with Silverplate Caps .... The Eales Co was founded in 1779 in Sheffield and still remains a family owned business today. There are a total of 8 shakers and each has the original sticker on the bottom, saying JAPAN. They glass shakers have silverplate tops. Four have 6 small holes (pepper) and four have 6 large holes (salt). The box (also with JAPAN sticker) is well constructed of a wooden frame.
